Before You Start
Before you start, make sure you have the followings ready:
- A Leopard VM running under Windows Environment
- Snow Leopard (SL) Retail Disc
In case your SL Retail Disc is in the DMG format, please note that you cannot attached it to VB's DVD drive. Simply convert it to ISO format by using tools UltraISO. - This Add-on Utilities CD image which contains a few Kexts, utilities) that will be used while installing SL.
Overview of the Installation Process
The installation process can be divided into the following parts:
- Creating a new hard disk (i.e. a virtual disk) in VB
- Installing Snow Leopard to the new hard disk via the Leopard VM
- Creating a VM for booting the hard disk with SL installed
