Google’s Chrome Browser is eating up your hard disk space!

If you are using a SSD as your Window system partition (like me), hard disk space is probably one of your concerns.

And if you are using Google’s Chrome browser, here is a tip for you.

  • First set your Windows Explorer to show hidden folders and files.
  • Then go to C:\Users\xxxxxxx\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\ (where xxxxxxx is the user name).
  • In that folder, you will see that each version of Chrome Browser has its own folder.   The latest one for me is “9.0.597.98″.
  • So, to free up some space (which version of the Chrome browser takes up about 156MB!), simply delete the folders of the old version Chrome.
